abell Cummins received her batchelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. While attending Georgia, she studied Art History and Interior Design in Cortona, Italy. After school, Cabell worked in Savannah, Georgia, at Rosolio's Incorporated. In 1981, she married Pat and moved to Charlotte.She was a designer for Mecklenburg Furniture for over 20 years.

Cabell established Cabell Cummins Interiors in 2002. Her interior design services include: space planning, color palette, selection and purchase of all interior furnishings, including custom window treatments. She works on renovations and new construction. For example, she specifies interior finishes such as, lighting, tile, counter tops, and appliances. Cabell works predominately in the Charlotte area.
